Privacy policy

This policy covers information collected through this website and in the course of quoting and carrying out lawn care work. It applies to Novels Lawn Care, Columbia, SC.

Only what is needed to quote the job, get to it, and talk to you about it:

• your name, phone number and email address
• the service address, city and ZIP code
• what you want done, how often, the property type and lot size
• the date and arrival window you asked for
• anything you choose to write in the notes field
• standard web server records — the request, the time, and the IP address it came from — which are used to keep the site up and to rate-limit the forms against spam

To reply to your enquiry, price the work, confirm the day, get the crew to the right property, and keep a record of the jobs we have done.

We contact you about your own enquiry or booking — a confirmation call, a text if the weather moves the visit, an invoice. That is all.

We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote. We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not build a profile of you across other websites.

Only the services that make the site work, and only for that purpose:

• our email provider, which delivers the form submission to our inbox
• our website host, which serves the pages and keeps the server logs described above

We will also release information if the law requires it.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics. There is no tracking pixel and no consent banner to dismiss, because there is nothing to consent to.

Giving us your phone number means we can call or text you about your quote or booking. We do not send marketing texts. If you would rather we only emailed you, say so and we will note it — or reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting that number.

Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept while they are still live and then cleared out. Customer records are kept for as long as we are working for you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax and accounting records.

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — novelslawncare97@gmail.com or (803) 622-3787. If deleting it would leave us unable to finish work you have booked, or would conflict with a record we have to keep, we will tell you which and why.

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
